1. Who is responsible
[Legal entity name — to be confirmed], [Registered business address — to be confirmed], is responsible for the personal information described here.
Person in charge of privacy: [Privacy officer name / title — to be confirmed]. Contact: hello@reelprint.app.
2. What we collect
We do not collect payment card details ourselves. If payments are switched on, they are handled by our payment processor.
- Orders: your name, email, shipping address and the items you buy. Payment details go straight to our payment processor.
- Contact and business forms: your name, email, message and, for business enquiries, your business details.
- When the video service launches: videos and photos you upload for a card, and the email address linked to your card.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and device type, in server logs kept for security and troubleshooting.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to you and manage your order or enquiry.
- To make, ship and operate your cards and their video pages.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To send you updates about your order, only where you have agreed (CASL / consent).
4. Your videos are private by default
Each card's video lives at its own unlisted link. It is not searchable, not published in any gallery and marked so that search engines do not index it.
“Unlisted” does not mean password-protected: anyone who has the card or the link can watch the video. Share cards as you would a printed photograph. If a card is lost, contact us and we can disable the link.
5. Cookies and tracking
The viewer page (/v/…) sets no tracking cookies and shows no ads. The marketing site stores your language and currency choice in your own browser; this is not shared with anyone. To pick a display currency, our hosting platform tells us your country (not your location or identity) and we keep it in a first-party cookie for one day.
[If analytics are added later, describe them here and add a consent banner where required.]
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Service providers that run the site and service for us: hosting, database, video storage and delivery, email, and, if enabled, payment processing. [List providers here.]
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
7. Where information is stored
Information may be stored and processed in the United States, Canada or other countries where our providers operate. Where information leaves Quebec, we will assess the privacy risks as Law 25 requires. [Confirm hosting regions.]
8. How long we keep it
Order and contact records: [__ months] after our last contact with you. Card videos: until you ask us to delete them, or until the service closes (with notice). Server logs: [__ days]. [Confirm retention periods.]
9. Your rights
Canada (PIPEDA): you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
- Quebec (Law 25): you can access and correct your information, ask for it in a portable format, ask us to stop disseminating it or to de-index it in certain cases, and complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you can ask to know what we collect, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither). We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
- To use any right, write to hello@reelprint.app. We aim to respond within 30 days [confirm; CCPA allows 45].
10. Children
Our site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 14 in Quebec) without a parent's consent.
11. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure. If a privacy incident puts you at serious risk, we will tell you and the regulators as required.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above. Questions or complaints: hello@reelprint.app.
